With the staggering cost of the surgery, I had consultations with a few surgeons prior to my surgery. Basically (in most cases) breast augmentation is considered a “pure cosmetic procedure” by most insurance companies and as such they are not covered. However you can always consult with your surgeon to see what payment plans is offered. For instance the plan I worked out was a 0% interest loan over a 1 year period (where I maid monthly payments).
